From today (16th) to next 19th, the power cut period has been extended to 3 hours. It was due to the sudden failure of the first generator of the Lak Vijaya power plant in Norochchole.
The loss of electricity capacity to the national power system is 270 megawatts due to the failure of the generator.
Meanwhile, essential maintenance work will also be done on the second generator of Lak Wijaya Power Plant in Norochchole these days.
