The fuel allowance for Parliament Ministers has been increased to nearly two lakh rupees recently.

A Minister in distant areas like Jaffna gets nearly two lakhs for fuel allowances and Ministers in other areas get more than one lakh.

With the current fuel price and preparation, this amount can provide an additional 4litresers of fuel for a minister.
