Yupun Abeykoon, the Sri Lankan running champion who joined the 100 meter event, had to withdraw from the preliminary round.
Yupun won the 05th place in that race and the time taken to complete the 100m race was 10.19 seconds. He missed the semi-final round by 0.04 seconds.
Yupun, who completed the race in Switzerland earlier in 9.96 seconds, has retreated here.
