American Ambassador Julie Chung says that the USA will be supported to find solutions to the economic problem.

This was mentioned in the meeting held between Ms Julie Chang and the President on the afternoon of the 30th at Fort President House, Colombo.

The high-ranking diplomatic delegation from that country said that the United States of America will provide support to maintain the relationship established with the International Monetary Fund.

American President Joe Biden also took steps to provide humanitarian aid on several occasions.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa thanked US President Joe Biden for his support to Sri Lanka on behalf of the International Monetary Fund and its humanitarian assistance.

Ms. Julie Chung told the President that she was aware of the current situation facing Sri Lanka and hoped that the country would recover soon.
