In another month or two, the current Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will have to resign or be removed from the post, says Samagi Jana Balawega MP Hirunika Premachandra.

After that, a person like G.L Peiris will become the Prime Minister. She added that Wickremesinghe had been appointed Prime Minister only until the instability in the country and the insecurity of the Rajapaksas had subsided.

She said that although Ranil Wickremesinghe had taken over as the Prime Minister this time, no foreign head of state had congratulated him.
