Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a “military operation” in Ukraine’s Donbass region, foreign media reported.

 The Russian president announced in a televised address that the operation was a response to the West Bank and Ukraine’s response.

The Russian president also warned that the West and Ukraine would continue to suffer repercussions if such reactions continued.
