Former Mrs Sri Lanka Pushpika de Silva has been summoned to the police reguarding the attack on the house of journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema

Former Mrs Sri Lanka  Pushpika de Silva has been summoned to the Piliyandala Police this morning.

 The police stated that the summons was issued to obtain a statement regarding the attack on the house of journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema.

Prior to the attack, Pushpika de Silva had joined a discussion on an internet channel run by Chamuditha Samarawickrema.

A number of controversial issues were revealed and various parties have taken legal action in this regard. A statement from Pushpika de Silva has been summoned as an extension of the ongoing investigation into the attack.

 Mr. Samarawickrema’s house was attacked on the 14th and no arrests have been made so far.
