China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology says the number of base stations for 5G communication technology facilities has increased to 1.43 million by the end of last year.
Accordingly, this is 60% of the total number of such places in the world, the Ministry said.
It further states that today 10.1 such Chinese 5G communication technology stations are providing services to 10,000 Chinese people.
According to Chinese media, China has invested $ 29 billion in 5G technology in 2021 alone to develop its ICT capabilities in the country.It accounts for 45.6% of the total investment in the IT sector. It is also an increase of 8.9% over the year 2020 compared to the investments made in the sector.
