Sri Lankan students gets Opportunity to learn 10 foreign languages

Piyal Nishantha de Silva, State Minister of Women and Child Development, Pre-School and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Services said that a series of online programs are planned to provide access to foreign language learning for school children in the country.

In collaboration with the London School of Executive Limited, UK, the project will enable school children to learn English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Arabic in accordance with international standards. The Minister of State said that this program is expected to be launched concurrently with the main event to be held on the occasion of Women’s Day.

He said this while he was speaking at a media briefing held at the Ministry premises on February 11.
