The 16th edition of the 24th Winter Olympics kicks off today in Beijing, China.
The tournament, which runs until February 20, will feature 3,000 athletes from 91 countries competing for 109 gold medals.
Also, for the first time in Olympic history, two robots exchanged an underwater Olympic torch at a special event at the Winter Olympics.
