The Sri Lankan government has requested a loan of US $ 200 billion from Pakistan.

The government hopes to get rice, medicines and cement through this facility.

 Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena, who recently visited Pakistan, has discussed the matter.

Pakistan is also facing a severe economic crisis and inflation is high.
