7 stab wounds to rejected love; Police had ignored the previous complaints

“If the police do not do justice to a police officer, will justice be done to innocent citizens?”

A police officer alleges that the police are delaying the arrest of the youth who stabbed his daughter and seriously injured her.

A student of the Advanced Technological Institute in Labuduwa was stabbed and injured by a youth on the 21st.

The father of the student alleges that he had previously lodged a complaint with the police but no action was taken.

A 23-year-old third-year student of the Electrical Engineering Department of a high-tech institute in Galle was stabbed by a man near the entrance of the Labuduwa Medical College quarters on the 21st.

 The student who was seriously injured in the attack is currently receiving treatment at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.
