The Grade Five Scholarship Examination which was scheduled to be held in the year 2021 will be held today (22).
Accordingly, 340,508 candidates will appear for the scholarship examination this year, said the Commissioner General of Examinations, LMD Dharmasena.
The examination is scheduled to be held at 2,943 examination centres and 108 special centres this year.
The Commissioner General of Examinations stated that even in the face of the covid-19 catastrophe, no child has been treated unfairly and that children who have been infected and quarantined by covid have been facilitated to sit for the examination under a special system.
