Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Cricket team won the three-match ODI series between the touring Zimbabwe team and the Sri Lanka team.

Zimbabwe set a target of 255 for victory over Sri Lanka in the final ODI.

Zimbabwe were bowled out for 70 in 24 overs with four balls to spare.
