A 16-year-old schoolboy who went swimming in the Panadura beach has drowned and disappeared.
Our correspondent stated that no information has been received about him so far. The 16-year-old student from Eluwila, Panadura had gone to the Panadura beach with his brother and father to bathe last evening (17).
While bathing, the student suddenly fell into a stream and tried to hang himself on his father’s neck to save his life, but the student disappeared at that moment.
