A cyclist has died after falling under a bus in the Ritigahawela area on the Avissawel-Maliyangama road.

As a result, the relatives of the deceased set the bus on fire.

 The bus was transporting workers at a factory when it met with an accident yesterday afternoon.

The 65-year-old cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
