Susil Premajayantha has been removed from the post of Minister of State with immediate effect.

It is reported that this removal has been done in accordance with the powers vested in President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

 Susil Premajayantha served as the State Minister of Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Education Promotion.
