The Special Commodity Levy on imported potatoes and big onions has been reduced with effect from midnight yesterday (31).
The excise duty on imported potatoes and big onions has been reduced by 30 rupees per kilogram, the Finance Ministry said.
With the approval of the Minister of Finance on the instructions of the President, these measures have been taken to provide relief to the people by reducing the current prices in the market.
