There was a shortage of passengers on the Kandyan Railway’s trains

An official at the Hatton Railway Station said that there was a shortage of passengers on the Kandyan Railway’s trains running on the 29th with the end of the union action taken by the station masters for six days from midnight on the 28th.

Due to the non-issuance of tickets to travel by train due to the strike by the Station Masters, a large number of people gathered to Station take the udarata manike, Podi manike and Night Mail trains to Sri Pada and other journeys,Hatton train station officials said.
