A warning from the PHI Association that omicron may have been socialized

The Association of Public Health Inspectors warns that there may be more people in the community than officially reported omicron infections.

Due to this, it is important for the people to follow the health advice properly, said the President of the Association Upul Rohana.

“Currently, the number of infected people is close to 7. But there may be a large number of omicchronone infections in the country considering the behaviour of these infected people and their exposure. Therefore, in the next three weeks, there will be a risk of an omicron-leading covid-19 epidemic in the country, with omicron becoming the leading infection. The public is warned”, He said

He further explained that”The number of patients reported in the country is much higher than the reported number. It seems that these statistics are completely false. We also have serious problems with the number of deaths. However, at present, there is a covid-19 epidemic in the country. We urge people to celebrate Christmas with the spread of the Omicron variant and the risk that it could escalate further in the future with the emergence of the leading variant, the Omicron variant”
