World Health Organization requests cancellation of parties

The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for the cancellation of events planned for the upcoming holiday season to control the spread of omicron.

The organization says to be more responsible during the upcoming Christmas holidays. The group called for the move to curb the spread of omicron, and said it would be “appropriate” to cancel all major events, including Christmas parties.

They further urge us not to hesitate to make difficult decisions to save many lives.

World Health Leader Tedros Gabrias says Omicron is spreading at a significantly faster rate than the Delta covid virus strain.
