Urea bundle cost over Rs13,000 and 1 kg of urea will cost Rs 300

In the future, a 50 kg bag of urea will cost more than Rs. 13,000 in the local market, according to the Fertilizer Secretariat.

They say this is due to rising urea prices in the world market and rising import costs.

At present 20 companies have placed orders to import chemical fertilizers but only a few have been ordered for urea, the Secretariat said.
