Milk powder companies had stopped distributing milk powder

Traders say that consumers have been severely inconvenienced as milk powder companies have not distributed milk powder packets to major plantation cities.

Despite the increase in the price of milk powder by the milk companies, the traders say that their business activities have been hampered due to the non-issuance of stocks of milk powder to the market.

The milk powder companies say that the shelves reserved for displaying milk powder packets in their shops are deserted as they do not issue milk powder packets to their shops.

 Meanwhile, the Ambewela Highland Milk Market near the Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat was closed due to the non-receipt of stocks of milk powder.
