People in Sri Lanka in long queues to buy kerosene due to gas and electricity crisis

Customers were seen queuing in front of petrol stations in the Hatton area due to the gas crisis and power outages for several hours.

Due to the lack of electricity, some of the generators in the shops were activated and the consumers as well as the consumers were severely inconvenienced due to the lack of electricity.

The petrol station employees had taken steps to give a customer only five liters of kerosene from the filling stations.
