Russia’s worst coal mine accident in decades. At least 52 people have been killed in an accident at a coal mine in Siberia.
The incident started with the burning of coal dust. As a result, 11 people initially died when the mine was filled with smoke.
An operation was launched to find the missing coal miners by nightfall, but several of them had suffocated to death.
The international media said that 285 people were employed in that mine and most of them were able to save their lives.
It was also reported that 49 people have been hospitalized
