Shy Hope gets a chance

West Indies have been allowed to replace Jeremy Solosano, who was hospitalized after being hit on the helmet by Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne, for the first Test.

Accordingly, the touring West Indies team has decided to deploy Shy Hope for the match as a “concussion sub”.

After hitting the ball on the head yesterday, Solosano was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo for treatment and it was reported that his condition was not serious.
