The Director General of Health Services yesterday (15) issued the Health Guidelines, which will be effective from November 16 to 30.

Dr. Asela Gunawardena urges the public to follow the health guidelines for controlling the spread of the covid pandemic. He also urges people to stay away from home as little as possible.

GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level tuition classes are allowed up to 50% of the capacity of the venue.

Examinations are also permitted subject to strict health guidelines.

Meetings with the participation of the public island wide will not be permitted unless permission is obtained from a competent authority.
