Taliban leader hold meeting in public

 

 Taliban leader Mulla Hibertullah Akundzadah has attended a public meeting for the first time.

Foreign media reports that he has participated in a ceremony held yesterday (30) with the participation of his supporters in the city of Kandahar in Afghanistan.

Akundzada, who has been a leader of the Taliban since 2016, has not attended a public meeting since Afghanistan fell to the Taliban.

There were also reports that Hibertullah Akundzada had died as a result of not appearing in public.
