Sri Lanka will have to put travel restrictions again- Dr. Asela Gunawardena

It has been decided to remove the travel restrictions between the provinces at 04.00 am on the 31st of this month, said the Commander of the Army, Shavendra Silva.

Meanwhile, Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena says that careless behavior is being observed during this period when travel restrictions have been relaxed. He added that travel restrictions would have to be imposed if the virus re-emerged in the future.

He therefore called on the people not to drag the country into such a situation again and to follow the health guidelines properly.
