Police in Australia have announced the largest haul of heroin ever found in the country. A total of 450 kilos of heroin valued at US $ 104 million was found in a container at the Port of Melbourne.
The Port of Melbourne is the largest port in the country and the discovery was made on September 29th.
Australian police have arrested a Malaysian man in connection with the discovery of heroin. He is currently facing charges of possession and importation of narcotics and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
