Chinese Embassy forcing Sri Lankan government to buy uncertified organic Fertiliser

The government has decided to stop importing organic fertilizer from China after identifying harmful microorganisms in two samples of organic fertilizer samples to be imported from China.
A statement issued by the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka stated that the Sri Lanka National Plant Quarantine Service had come to a hasty conclusion that the organic fertilizer samples imported by the Chinese company contained harmful microorganisms.

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka issued a media statement on 08th explaining the media reports in this regard.

The announcement states that in the fertilizer production process in accordance with international standards, when they are sterilized at a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius, harmful micro-organisms are completely destroyed under high temperatures.
