A crocodile dragged a dead body into the Diyawanna Oya

Scenes of a crocodile dragging a dead body into the Diyawanna Oya was recorded on a mobile phone.

The incident took place in the Kimbulawala area in Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte yesterday afternoon.

The person who recorded the incident says that the body of the crocodile was left in the water under the bridge of the crocodiles.

The body was later recovered by the Navy and taken to the Kalubowila Hospital for further investigations. The deceased was around 60 years of age and his identity has not been confirmed.
