The couple who were arrested by the police on a charge of creating an obscene video near the Belihuloya Pahahasdawa waterfall and posting it on the internet have been sentenced to three months imprisonment.
Because they both pleaded guilty The Balangoda Magistrate’s Court has imposed a fine of Rs. 10,800 and three months imprisonment suspended for seven years.
A 24-year-old woman from Elpitiya and a 34-year-old man from Maharagama have been sentenced.
