The government has decided to remove Commissioner General of Examinations from his post

The government has decided to remove Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Poojitha from his post, according to weekend newspapers.

This is due to the fact that the Ministry of Education and the Presidential Secretariat have received a number of complaints regarding the Department of Examinations.

 Among them were the methods of conducting the examinations and the problems that arose in the issuance of certain examination results.

The report also states that after the removal of the Commissioner General, there are plans to call for applications again and appoint a new Commissioner General
