The country could be reopened1st under strict travel restrictions

Senior Professor Arjuna de Silva of the Ragama Medical Faculty says that the country could be reopened on the 1st under strict travel restrictions.

He added that the closure of the country for a long time seems to have good results.

However, he said the 25% limit on recruitment to public and private institutions should be maintained even after the country opens, adding that transit on public transport should also be kept within the 50% limit.

He added that weddings and banquets should no longer be allowed, and that the country could only be fully opened once vaccination had reached the 70-80 percent mark.

He points out that the number of deaths and infections during the country’s closure has dropped satisfactorily and that it is a good thing.
