The lands belonging to the Land Reforms Commission have been leased out for an acre, said the Chairman of the Maldeniya Plantation Company, Dhammika Eliyapura.
He also alleges that some lands have been given for a lease amount of about 75 acres. He also revealed that a minister in the South was being bribed for this and that the companies were spending money on it.
He says that all the factories worth around Rs. 7,000 million have been dismantled and sold for iron and there is no point in telling anyone about this.
