Kodikamam Police said that two high powered claymore mines were found in the Kodikamam Kudamian area in Jaffna on the 16th.
A resident of the area saw the claymore mine hidden near a palm tree near a temple in the Kudamian area and informed the police.
Police found two 10 kg and 15 kg high claymore mines during the search.
Kodikamam Police further stated that it is suspected that the two claymore mines may have been taken and hidden by a person at the scene and an extensive investigation is underway.
