It is reported that the prison officials who were on duty at the time are preparing to lodge a complaint with their superiors to investigate the Minister of State who entered the Welikada Prison under the influence of alcohol.
A bond spokesman told the Daily Mirror that the allegations that Minister of State Lohan Ratwatte was involved were untrue.
The prison spokesman also stated that he was not aware of any other incident.
