Government decided to buy a kilo of Nadu paddy at Rs. 55

The Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage stated that it was decided at the Cabinet meeting held on the 13th to purchase a kilo of Nadu paddy at Rs. 55

Accordingly, the Paddy Marketing Board has been instructed to go to the farms and purchase Nadu paddy at Rs. 55 / – per kilo from the 14th, the Minister said.

Earlier a kilo of Nadu paddy was bought by the Paddy Marketing Board for Rs. 50 / -.
