Cabraal appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank

Ajith Nivard Cabraal has been appointed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The appointment was made by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa with effect from September 15.

The Presidential Media Unit announces this.
