Preparations are underway to file a complaint in court against the appointment of Ajith Nivard Cabraal as the Governor of the Central Bank.

Former Governor Rajitha Keerthi Tennakoon is preparing to file the complaint.

Mr. Cabraal is due to take over as Governor of the Central Bank later this week following his resignation from the post of Member of Parliament and Minister of State today.
