Sri Lanka has handed over a consignment of locally produced saline to the Medical Supplies Division.
This product is manufactured under the SPMC label of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation. It is planned to use this saline in all government hospitals in the future.
Saline imports attract a large amount of foreign exchange per year, which can save money.
