Some hospitals in western province ran out space for corona patients

The Ministry of Health states that the beds in the wards reserved for corona patients in the hospitals in the Western Province are filling up.

The ministry also says that some hospitals have already stopped accepting corona patients.

Ten corona wards of the Colombo National Hospital and 13 wards of the Colombo North Hospital are currently full of corona infected people.

Beds in places used as treatment centers are also filling up. Hospitals have 650 intensive care units and the majority of those beds are overcrowded.
