The Prime Minister’s Media Unit says that the reports that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is receiving treatment at the hospital due to an illness are untrue.
The media unit further states that the Prime Minister is performing his duties as usual.
The Prime Minister’s Media Unit has clarified this regarding the publication of obscure pictures and reports on social media that the Prime Minister is in hospital.
