Private hospitals request people to admit hospital for one day to do rapid antigen tests

Private hospitals are refusing to perform rapid antigen tests to detect corona infections.

These steps have been taken due to the maximum price set by the Ministry of Health for those tests.

Private hospitals and laboratories are abandoning antigen testing, saying the maximum price is set at 2,000 rupees is not enough.

Some private hospitals have announced that antigen tests can only be done if you pay to stay in a ward for a day.
