Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Association of Health Professionals, says that there are five times as many infected people in the country as there are detectives.

He also says that 80% of the possible consequences of closing the country have been damaged due to the misconceptions of the Ministry of Health.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), tests in Sri Lanka detect only 15.8% of infected people, and there are more than five times as many as those diagnosed.

He also points out that less than 5% of treatment essentials die before  admitted to hospital can be found due to the policy of not finding patients.

He said epidemiologists and politicians seemed to be misleading the president, adding that the government would not be able to cope if the number of infections increased due to the wrong policies of the Ministry of Health.
