Four mutations in the delta variant of the corona virus have been identified in Sri Lanka.

 This was confirmed by Prof. Neelika Malavige of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She added that all painkillers currently used in the country respond effectively to these mutations.

She stated this  while addressing the media this morning.
