Former Provincial Councilor Wasantha Samarasinghe, a member of the Political Bureau of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) states that the government should immediately close down the country scientifically.

 If the government does not take that decision, all public and private sector employees in the country will be locked down the country from next Monday and only essential services will be performed , he said.

Mr. Samarasinghe expressed these views addressing a media briefing.
