Residents of the Nuwara Eliya area are queuing up in front of the Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat (11) to buy packets of Highland milk produced by the Ambewela Highlands Dairy.
People who came to buy milk powder said that they were waiting in line in the morning to buy the weekly milk powder packets issued once a week at the Highland outlet set up by the District Secretariat as there was no other type of milk powder available in the market.
Because of this Police had to control locals who came to buy milk powder.
