The Consumer Affairs Authority has allowed the company to increase the price of Laugfs gas cylinders.
Accordingly, permission will be granted to increase the price of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder from Rs. 1,856 to Rs. 363 and a 5 kg gas cylinder from Rs. 743 to Rs. 145.
The company stopped importing gas, saying an increase in gas prices was essential.
However, the government says that the price of Litro gas will remain the same.
